BUSINESS NETWORKING MIXER Thurs. 5/19, 5 - 7 pm Sally Tomatoes Event Center Sponsored by the Active 20/30 Club The Rohnert Park - Cotati Active 20-30 Club is honored to present a check to the Cotati Arts Project, a division of the Cotati Chamber of Commerce, for $1500.00. A sculpture will be raised on behalf of Galilea Peña, a recent victim of a tragic car accident, and other children we've lost too soon. President John-Logan Coots and the Active 20/30 Club will hold a festive event to present the check in conjunction with the Rohnert Park & Cotati Chambers of Commerce at a mixer on Thursday, May 19th at 5:30 pm at Sally Tomatoes Event Center, 1100 Valley House Drive, Rohnert Park in Sonoma Mountain Village. Halle Siepman, the Sonoma State University art student that is producing the art piece will also attend the event. The art piece, entitled "Tilted," will be place in Cotati's La Plaza Park, along with a plaque, in July 2011. This is an excellent opportunity to meet an up-and-coming artist in the beginning of her career. The public is welcome and those who wish to support children and the community are encouraged to attend! As Logan-Coots says, "Anything to do with children in need, we are there!" The purpose of the community-focused Active 20-30 Club is to serve, aid, promote and foster the youth of the community. Nationwide, the clubs distribute tens of thousands of dollars annually to underprivileged kids, as well as working with these children with hands-on projects at various charitable organizations, including locally: · Boys & Girls Club · Kid Street Charter School of Santa Rosa · Challenger Little League · Northern Cal Center for Well-Being
For more information about the club, donations and to support, please contact President John- Logan Coots at 510-917-5646 or john-logan@powerfitusa.com.

HELP FOR COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE OWNERS A new SBA program helps small commercial real estate property owners refinance their existing mortgages. Many small business owners face large balloon payments on their mortgages without the ability to refinance (due to declining property values and reduced rent rolls). Small business owners with eligible commercial real estate mortgages (maturing after 12/31/12) can gain long-term financing through the new 504 refinancing program. Borrowers refinance up to 90 percent of the current appraised property value or 100 percent of the outstanding mortgage, whichever is lower, plus eligible refinancing costs. Under the Jobs Act, Congress authorized SBA to approve up to $15 billion in loans under this program ($7.5 billion in both fiscal years 2011 and 2012). This program provides $33.8 billion of total project financing. CLICK HERE for more information.
