RMS Reports You Need to Know
Owner Memos
The Owner Memo Report is a great way to communicate with your owners swiftly and efficiently. You can send out an e-mail or print a letter to all your owners in RMS.
You must first write the letter and make sure it is assigned properly in your Utilities, User Designed Letters under Owner Memos. You may create more than one letter to an owner by using the Custom Letters in User Designed Letters and choose Owner Form Letter for the Letter Type.
You may write your letter in html or convert it to html and upload it. Then you can browse to it to assign it in the appropriate screen of User Designed Letters.. If you always compose your letter within RMS by clicking on Report Body on the Owner Memo screen of User Designed Letters, that works too. Don't for get to Save your letter and click 'OK' to save your letter assignment.
Once your letter is perfect, you can go to the Reports menu Owner Reports and choose, Owner Custom Letters/Labels option. Then you will tell RMS which owners you want to print or send letters to, whether you want to print them all, use the primary method of contact or email. Then you will be prompted to choose your letter. When you click in the Letter to Print, RMS will allow you to choose your standard Owner Memo or from one of your Custom Owner Form letters you designed for the purpose of communicating with your owners.
