Quick Tips
It's a great time to prepare yourself for the winter weather to come. Here are some helpful hints.
Turn off and drain exterior water lines. This will prevent winter freezing which could cause bursting pipes.
Keep a supply of rock salt and shovel in your garage. It's your responsibility to keep pathways and sidewalks clear of snow and ice.
Change your furnace filter as it will help performance under heavier use.
Don't overload outlets with extension cords for lights. This is a major contributor to fires during the holiday season.
Change the batteries in your fire detector and keep a fire suppressant on hand. Check out Cold Fire as a safe and easy alternative.
