Influx of International Buyers
It's old news that there has been an influx of International buyer's entering the Lower Mainland Real Estate market. The primary demand appears to be larger, high end homes in more affluent areas. This trend is partially marked by Canada receiving "Approved Destination Status" from China in December 2009. With the families of many of these buyers making Vancouver their primary or secondary home, it remains to be seen if this trend continues.
