With heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our Manager Gordan Harmon who succumbed to cancer earlier this month. A celebration of life was held at the Seymour Golf Club where Gord was a long time member. Realtors and friends from across North America came to show their respects. Gordon made an impact on the North Shore Real Estate family that people seldom do and was instrumental in Prudential's success. He will be greatly missed.
With great enthusiasm we welcome Fred Brown back to Prudential. Fred has had over 30 years real estate experience in sales and management, much of it on the North Shore. Fred has previously managed for Prudential Sussex in both the North & West Vancouver offices and understand the special company culture of this company which is owned by it's own salespeople.
Amortization rule changes March 18, 2011
In January, Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty announced changes in the nation's mortgage rules, limiting the amortization period on "high-ratio" mortgages, and imposing new constraints on home equity lines of credit. Beginning on March 18, 2011, the maximum amortization on a home mortgage with less than 20% down will drop from thirty-five to thirty years. Read more
