 Tech Edge

We've told you that your advertising can make use of all sorts of new technologies. Today's electronics provide almost

unlimited options to make connections

between the consumer and the product or client And, interactive can be as simple and cost effective as using a web -cam.

Here are some ideas for your next campaign:

· Use of web cam to link 2 sites.  For example; linking
a bus shelter in Chicago to a bus shelter in Los Angeles.  · How about showing travelers in the Minneapolis Airport the views if they were aboard a cruise ship in the Bahamas.
· Have you thought about using web-cams to broadcast live events. Allow train or subway commuters live time connection to your events.
· Shoppers can pause to look at the action at a ski resort. And, skiers can beckon the mall goers to come out and play.  It's as easy as using web-cam technology

Web connections can be made via a mobile phone
and the viewer can watch live time or view themselves on a remote web-site.  They can even drive the remote web-cam, zooming in for a better look.

Next project; Does it have web-cam possibilities?

 Turning in the

right direction.

levis gears

To get 24 large moving gears to turn in unison is no easy task on this 3D billboard.  The oversized gears were direct printed to sheet goods, router cut and mounted to the mechanics.  Each row of gears had it's own motor that was programmed to run in 20-second cycles.  10 seconds on, and 10 seconds off to reveal the message "WE ARE ALL WORKERS".

Warning: Do not try

this at home!

jackass 3d

A ramp that measures 14' H x 54' L is mighty tempting to passersby that like to live on the edge.  To prevent any accidents similar to the jet-ski and mannequin that we mounted to the billboard face, security was on hand to make sure that no one made a jackass of themselves.

Delivering the Good News!

target baby

Your baby is already a name in Hollywood. Target fans were able to see their newborn's name on this giant magnetized birth announcement. By proclaiming the good news on Target Baby's Facebook Page, the name, weight and time of birth were posted in giant 3-Dimensional letters at the Hollywood site. The event took place beginning midnight January 1st, 2011 and ran for 7 days. Atomic constructed the 50' prop and magnetized letters with steel framing and laminated metal surfaces covered with a printed vinyl.  Target also took photos of the unique birth announcements and sent them to their fans.

MINI loves Winter!

mini on ice

Winter driving looks like fun with this MINI billboard.  A full-scale fiberglass replica MINI car was mounted onto this icy landscape.  The snow and ice were carved into this 3D design and the "Goes Well Over Ice" banner was stood off for added dimension.
