Dear Residents and Friends of Sullivan's Island: Council meets tomorrow night, beginning at 5:30PM in Executive Session ( Click for Agenda). CCSD and Town Council have coordinated to offer residents numerous opportunities in February and March to review design elements of the new Sullivan's Island Elementary School. Please make plans to attend one or more of these meetings. Meanwhile, visit the Town's website often for updates on Town news and events.

All dogs need permits. Permits available at Town Hall (2050 Middle Street) M-F, 8AM-5PM.

ALL WAY STOP
Station 22.5 & Middle Street Intersection

After analyzing traffic patterns, the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has agreed to install an ALL WAY STOP for a test period of six (6) months, during which time SCDOT will study traffic patterns and make a final determination on the signs.
The Town will provide residents with opportunities to provide feedback on the changes to the intersection. Meanwhile, contact Town Administrator Andy Benke with questions at (843)883-5726 or [email protected].

Water Valve & Fire Hydrant Flushing & Testing
Now through February 29, 2012 your Water Department will flush all fire hydrants and system values to ensure they are in good working order for emergencies, and to flush sediment out of the distribution system.
Flushing will be between 8:00AM - 4:00PM Tuesdays through Friday. Look for signs posted in each area before flushing begins.

Get your 2012 Business License Today!
Every person engaged, or intending to engage, in business within the Town of Sullivan's Island is required to obtain an annual Sullivan's Island Business License.
New for 2012: businesses must obtain a sticker to be displayed on each vehicle used by the business while in Town limits. Three stickers will be issued with each license. Additional stickers are $20 each. Call (843)883-5727 for information.
