Get your pool (photo) ID at Town Hall to use the pool (click here for info).  The ID is free but pool will charge $2/person per visit.

Councilmembers Hartley Cooper, Jerry Kaynard and Mary Jane Watson will be sworn into office. Many thanks go to outgoing Councilman Buddy Howle for his years of dedicated service to the Town. 

 

The FY12 municipal budget is scheduled for final approval tonight.

We Have Moved!

Town Hall & Police Department offices have moved!
As of Monday, June 6, 2011 Town Hall and the Police Department are in temporary facilities:
  
Town Hall:  2050-B Middle Street
Police Department:  2050-C Middle Street
     (located behind the Fire Station next to Stith Park)  
  
Our mailing address and phone number remain the same:  (843) 883-3198; PO Box 427, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482.  Town meetings are at Town Hall unless otherwise noted.
    
Municipal Court bench trials will be held at Isle of Palms Municipal Court (1207 Palm Boulevard, Isle of Palms) until further notice.  Court dates and times have not changed.
  
NOTE:  No court correspondence or payments will be taken by Isle of Palms.  The Sullivan's Island Clerk of Court (Maria LoRusso) may be reached directly at (843) 883-5734. 
The Town thanks the City of Isle of Palms for graciously extending the use of its Court chambers for Sullivan's Island bench trials. 
 
Town Council continues its progress toward a permanent facility for Town Hall and the Police Department.  The Real Estate Committee of Council will meet at 4:00PM, Thursday, July 14, 2011 to discuss this matter.

NOTE:  You may recall Charleston County announced no   yard debris in plastic bags would be accepted at its landfill after June 2011.  County Council has decided to defer the  program switch until October 1st.  You may choose to start using paper bags for your yard debris now, but our vendor will continue to pick up clippings in clear plastic bags. 

    

Do you need a (blue) recycling container?  You may pick up one from Town Hall, 2050-B Middle Street, from 8:00AM-5:00PM weekdays. (843) 883-3198
