Labor Day is just around the corner, marking the end of Summer 2010. We have included the winter schedule for community services in this edition for your convenience. Please consider donating some of your time to serve your Town on a municipal Board or Commission. Deadline for applications is next week (August 31st)!
Remember to please check the Town's website often for updates on local events and news.

Garbage Collection Changes
Starting September 20, 2010, household garbage collection will be on Tuesdays (once/week schedule).
Yard and bulk debris will be collected on Wednesdays.
 Post Office
Effective Saturday, August 28, 2010, the Sullivan's Island Post changes its retail lobby hours.

BOARDS & COMMISSIONS -DEADLINE AUGUST 31st | | |
Seeking: Volunteers for Town Service
The Town is accepting letters of interest and applications from residents for Boards and Commissions, specifically for the following seats that expire in September (Click on Board below for an application):
1610 Middle Street, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM.
Application packets are due by 5:00PM on Tuesday,
August 31, 2010 at Town Hall.

Remember "Summer Hours for Dogs on Beach" continues through September 30, 2010
(May 1st-Sept. 30th)
Off-leash:
5:00AM - 10:00AM
On-leash:
6:00PM - 5:00AM
NO DOGS ON BEACH: 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Every dog requires a permit.
Permits may be purchased at Town Hall from 8:00AM-5:00PM Mon-Fri. Town Hall is located at 1610 Middle Street. Phone (843) 883-3198 for more information. |
