Dear Residents and Friends of Sullivan's Island:
Summer is here along with beach and water fun, hot weather and many Island visitors. We encourage you to join your neighbors in the Marshall Stith Park at 10:30am for the dedication and celebration of the new Ben Sawyer Bridge. It is also time to review your family hurricane plan. Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms Staff will hold their annual Disaster Preparedness Expo on June 18th to help residents get prepared. Isle of Palms will host the joint event this year. Remember to please check the Town's website often for updates on local events and news. |

June 2nd.
POOL HOURS:
12Noon - 8:00PM
Wed., Thurs. & Fri.
$2/person per visit. Lifeguards "on duty"
POOL PASS INFORMATION:
Residents need updated 2010 passes. Town Hall
issues pool passes for free (M-F 8AM-5PM).
Please bring your photo ID to Town Hall, located at 1610 Middle Street.

Hurricane Season: June 1-November 30th
 Forecasters predict an active 2010 hurricane season in the Atlantic. Now is the time to review your family disaster preparedness plan. Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms join forces to provide you the information and tools to help you get prepared. Please make plans to join us at our annual Disaster Preparedness Expo hosted, this year, by Isle of Palms.

Political Signs on the Island: Town Ordinance Sec 21-130E(5) allows political signs to be posted in yards up to two (2) weeks before an election and stipulates signs must be removed within one (1) week of the election.
Signs must be removed no later than June 15, 2010.
Census workers are on Sullivan's Island striving to gather the most accurate data for the Island.
The data results are very important to the Town and factor into the revenue sharing programs of the state to the Island.
If you need a Census form please call Telephone Questionnaire Assitance (TQA) call center for a form:
1-866-872-6868 (8:00am - 9:00pm, 7 days a week).
