YARD/TREE TRIMMING TIPS
Spring is here and with it brings gardening and general yard clean-up.  When you begin your yardwork, keep these tips in mind:

*   RIGHTS-OF-WAY- No plants, fences, structures or obstructions are allowed in the right-of-way.

*   Use CLEAR plastic bags -
Place grass clippings & leaves in these bags, not black bags

*   CUT limb sizes down - 4 feet or less

*   PACE yourself -
Town contractor, Suburban Disposal, can only pick up small piles of yard debris from each home each week.  Put out small piles each week to ensure it all gets picked up.

*   CURB It- Yard debris is placed at the end of your curb on Tuesday evening.

  Contractors - Carry it away
If you hire a landscape contractor, the contractor must haul away the debris.

NOTE: Suburban Disposal does not pick up yard debris on vacant lots or on lots where it appears a contractor has worked.
