First I want to express my sincere appreciation for everything you have done to help us achieve our goals for ensuring the success of Talladega College.  Your assistance with recruitment has benefitted the College with a 2010 enrollment of over 700 students.  Most of our Active Chapters have held fundraisers during the year, delivering much needed revenue to the College.  Individual alumni donations have increased both in the number of alumni who donate, and the amount of the contributions.  With your continued help, this will increase.  And as we all know, both individually

and collectively our job is never done as it relates to recruitment and fundraising.

The National Alumni Association continues to do our part with an annual raffle.  In 2010, our raffle

netted a direct contribution to the College of $30,000.  We've held this raffle for five (5) years and as such, have contributed more than $130,000 to our alma mater.  The success of this raffle is directly related to your individual participation, and we hope that you will once again help us by either selling or buying raffle tickets.  Please note that 100% of the proceeds from this effort will go to Talladega.  The TCNAA does not keep any of the proceeds.

In 2011 we have a very ambitious goal.  We want to sell enough raffle tickets in the next three years to purchase a bus for the College.  The cost of this project is over $100,000.  We are askingall individuals receiving the e mail to purchase at least six (6) tickets over the next three years, and I am hopeful that many of you will purchase at least that many for this raffle.

We are distributing the tickets earlier this year, with hopes that this will allow more opportunity to sell EVERY ticket.  We have printed 2500 tickets for this fundraiser.  Tickets are only $25.00, and the prizes will be awarded during Alumni Weekend.  Prizes are:

1^stPrize       -   A 4-7 Day Luxury Cruse for 2

2^nd Prize     -   Apple iPad (32GB)

3^rd Prize      -   Microsoft Xbox 360

You can receive tickets from your local club president, or if you are not in a club you can get them
