Dear Alumni,
As we prepare to come to Talladega for the 93rd Annual Alumni Weekend, I wanted to share a few insights with you as it relates to yourTCNAA andour alma mater. I hope that you will take the time to reflect and act on this message.
Your National Alumni Association continues to assist the College, but in truth, we are limited by what we can do resulting from a small financial membership base. Ideally, every alumnus would join the Alumni Association. The cost - an annual fee of Only $50.00.The dues are divided as such: $35 to the National Association and $15.00 to your respective region.

You are probably asking "why should I join the Alumni Association" or even, "What has the TCNAA done lately? "Here are a few reasons:
· For the last six years, the TCNAA has contributed at least $25,000.00 annually to the college. This money was collected through annual fundraising campaigns over the last few years and management of dues.
· When special needs occur at the College, the TCNAA responds immediately. When the College gave the National Championship Men's team commemorative rings we made a contribution to that effort. We have also assisted students and organization at the college to represent the college at various conferences and
competitions.
· Each Nationally elected officer serves at NO cost to you. Our Officers come to campus twice a year, and pay their own expenses. As such, your dues do not reimburse any expenses associated with our trips to campus.
· In April 2011 we will elect National Officers. It is not too early to begin the evaluation process. In order to participate, you must be financially active. Getting involved in the "business of the college" will give you a voice and keep you in the know. This is your responsibility as an Alumnus of
Talladega College.
I sincerely hope that you will support your national elected Officers by joining the Association. If each of you reading
this e mail were to become financially active, our effectiveness would be increased significantly. To join, simply go to our Website at www.tcnaa.com. You can use Pay Pal or send your check directly to the Financial Secretary. If you pay your National dues in your local Chapter, we encourage you to continue to do so. Again I ask that you become financially active, and help us increase our effectiveness to the College.
We are in the last weeks of our 2010 raffle. We have 2500 tickets printed and every penny we collect goes to our alma mater. If we sold every ticket, we could double our contribution to the college to $50,000. If you have not purchased your ticket yet, it is not too late to do so. You may contact any National Officer or Regional President for a ticket. You may also send me an e-mail (see below), amd I'll ensure that you receive a ticket.
