We are proud to announce that Talladega College President Dr. Billy C. Hawkins is one of several HBCU Presidents to be invited to the White House to attend the higher education policy briefing. Following the briefing, Dr. Hawkins and the other educational leaders will join President Barack Obama as he signs the Executive Order, "Promoting Excellence, Innovation and Sustainability at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)."
The event will be held at noon on Friday, February 26th in the White House Conference Center, Truman Room at 726 Jackson Place, NW in Washington, D.C.
