Rebuilding Minot ND
One Year After the Great Flood
A year ago this month, the Souris (Mouse) River swamped much of Minot, North Dakota, destroying at least 4,100 homes and disrupting the lives of more than 11,000 people. It also had a major impact on hundreds of businesses.
When we arrived in Minot, we encountered the overwhelming aftermath of the flood. When everything is underwater, you can't do anything. But we were already on the ground with other cat teams from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Missouri and North Dakota, prepared to take action when the waters began to recede.
The ServiceMaster Recovery Services team of eight assisted in residential and commercial recovery and restoration. But being of service to Enerbase, aiding in their swift business recovery, is something of which we are particularly proud.
