ServiceMaster Responds to Thailand Floods
ServiceMaster Recovery Services works with the ServiceMaster Recovery Management (SRM) team, the commercial large-loss division of ServiceMaster. SRM is actively serving its international commercial clients in response to the historic flooding in Thailand. The flooding has claimed over 500 lives since late July and affected more than 1,000 factories in industrial provinces north of the capital of Bangkok, disrupting the supply chains of many international companies.

While determining the true cost of the floods could take years, insured losses could be in the billions of dollars. SRM deployed preliminary recovery teams to the area three weeks ago and is initiating the restoration process as flood waters recede.

SRM specializes in minimizing business interruption in disaster impacted areas so that companies may rapidly return to pre-loss conditions.
SRM provides initial emergency response services through to complete restoration and reconstruction capabilities, getting its clients back in business faster. The SRM management team has experience in 27 different countries on countless disasters, including clean-up after Hurricane Katrina and the Pentagon after September 11, 2001. The SRM team is a recognized leader in large commercial disaster recovery efforts.
