FLUIDYNEŽ POWERSPORTS RADIATORS WIN TWO BAJA 500 CLASSES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (June 26, 2009) - FLUIDYNEŽ Powersports radiator-equipped entries took a pair of unprecedented wins in the 450cc Pro Motorcycle and Utility ATV classes in the 41st annual SCORE International Baja 500.

In extreme weather conditions, where the temperature climbed to more than 100 degrees, FLUIDYNEŽ Powersports radiators withstood all that Baja dished up in this grueling 500-mile race. With increased width, depth and fluid capacity, they enhanced cooling in nasty, low-air-flow riding conditions in the peninsula's gnarly silt beds and provided consistent engine temperatures in high-speed runs through the open desert.

Additionally, FLUIDYNEŽ Powersports radiators have proven more durable than their OEM counterparts, withstanding tough racing conditions and offering unmatched crash survival. FLUIDYNEŽ Powersports radiators also cost less than their OEM counterparts and install in minutes, utilizing factory mounts and hardware.

The 450cc Pro Motorcycle class was won by the trio of Craig Smith and teenage brothers Cameron and Kyle Corfman on a Beta 450 RR. They finished the race with a time of 10 hours and 28 minutes. After their bike suffered a leaky stock radiator in the 2008 San Felipe 250, the team bolted up a pair of FLUIDYNEŽ Powersports units for this year's SCORE series. During pre-running and competing in the Baja 500, they experienced more than 1200 trouble-free miles, except for a radiator shroud that was ripped off by brush early in the race.

Meanwhile, the factory-sponsored Arctic Cat squad of Reid Rutherford, Tony Valerio and Benn Vernadakis bested the Utility ATV division with a 14-hour, 37-minute posting. After a trouble-free performance in hot, dry conditions, Team Captain Rutherford had this to say regarding the FLUIDYNEŽ radiator in his Thundercat: "For all that 950cc V-twin engine knew, it was still up in the cool Colorado mountain air," referring to his team's home base in the Rocky Mountains.

Built on 50 years of experience in fluid dynamics and race-proven from the beaches of Baja to the woods of Washington, FLUIDYNEŽ Powersports radiators are available for late-model dirt bikes, ATVs and side-by-side UTVs. They are made in the USA and sold through dealers nationwide.
