New Electronic Forms Log and Viewer
The Electronic Forms integration with UnForm has been enhanced to include a powerful new log and viewer. This combination provides greater insight into the disposition of all the electronic documents created within DB Distributor. Whether a document is faxed, emailed, printed or imaged, the delivery of each version is logged.
The UnForm job summary includes the Submitted Date and Time, Destination, Version, Job Status and much more. The default sort is by Job Id, however, the data can be resorted by clicking on the desired column heading, and the data within the log can be easily exported to Excel.
Each time the E/F Log Viewer panel is launched the user is given the opportunity to reload the latest UnForm log data into the DB Distributor Electronic Forms Log (EFL) for review. After the log information has been loaded, the user is given the option to clear and if they elect this option, the UnForm log file (Ufdbd.log) will be cleared. The user also has a "Clear Log File" option. If elected, the user can specify a date to use to clear all prior entries from the EFL file.
The new user- friendly viewer provides drill down capability. Double-clicking on a specific job entry in the summary panel will launch the E/F Log Job Details panel. For distributors who also use VSI*Fax to fax electronic forms, details for a fax job can be further queried automatically from the E/F Log Job Details panel.
