Notice of Punchout Improvements
The July 11th release of DB Enterprise brought two improvements to punchout handling. First is support for ad hoc ordering. When a PO comes in with item codes that do not exist in DB/e (or missing SupplierPartAuxiliaryID) then the system will convert that XML into an email with all relevant order information. That data will be sent to the manual entry recipients for the account. This allows for manual processing of an order that would previously have been rejected.
In addition, the system now supports a mixed order request. At times, an order request is submitted for only part of an order, or even parts of multiple orders. The system will now accommodate checkouts of various line items as long as each is still in an active cart.
