Enhancements to your DB Distributor Standard Reports
There is a new printer option that provides for enhancements to the look and feel of your standard DB Distributor Reports. These enhancements include improved fonts, bold headings and totals, and the inclusion of your company logo.
To take advantage of this option, you will need to be running the new DB Distributor electronic forms interface with UnForm. From your report selection screen, choose Output Options and change the Output Device to PU. That's it! The report will print to PDF with the applied enhancements.
This is accomplished using a generic rule set that detects certain common attributes found on most DB Distributor reports and applies enhancements accordingly.
However, it is possible to create and apply report specific rules to further enhance the report's overall appearance. These report specific rule sets would be stored in the Job Options field on the Output Options panel. We can create custom rule sets for you on a work order basis, or you can create them yourself!
As you know, JetForm is no longer supported by the developer, and cannot be installed on any new servers. Why not go forward with the installation of UnForm now and take advantage of these new report enhancements right away?
As far as electronic forms, you can adopt the standard formats that DemandBridge created. Or, if you believe you require any customized versions, you will have the time to design and implement them at your own pace.
