Activity Details Now Display During Delete Requests
When you select to delete a salesperson, customer, vendor or an item, there are precautions in place to make certain that you are not deleting a record that has current activity. For instance, you would not want to delete a customer if there were an open invoice, nor an item if there were actual inventory in the warehouse. Therefore DB Distributor checks all of the associated files, and it if finds activity, it returns a message stating that activity has been detected and that the record has been set to inactive for later removal.
A new enhancement now displays additional information regarding the activity that is preventing the record from being deleted. With this additional information, the operator can more easily take further action to remove or otherwise process those open records.
