Parameters Check for Acceptable Gross Profit Percentage
More and more distributors are improving efficiency through the automation of their Vouch and Bill function by receiving vendor invoice data via XML or some other means. The Customer Invoicing Gateway Plus (CIG Plus) compares the vendor invoice data to the open purchase order, and if within tolerance, automatically sets up the accounts payable and invoices the customer. Two new CIG Plus parameters offer you the ability to set a minimum Gross Profit percentage, both at the system level, as well as the customer level. If the gross profit on the order falls below the system parameter, or the customer specific parameter, if present, the record will be flagged and placed on hold for further review. For reporting, the CIG Plus Journal selection screen has been modified with a new option to print the sales and gross profit extensions along with the GP percentage.
