Issue #35                               July 2011

Greetings!

Summer is here, school is out, and the sun is shining. Thankfully there are lots of remedy combinations to help us to remain calm, cool and collected throughout the summer.

Next week , I am going to England with my two teens, for a family occasion/reunion, and a visit to the Bach Centre amongst other outings. It is the big count down, but there is a lot to be done between now and then.

This month's feature article is about which remedies that I will be taking with us on the long journey.

This fall I am looking forward to teaching the Level One in Port Alberni, and Vancouver.

Happy Summer!

How to keep your cool this summer...

We all look forward to our summer vacations, catching up with family, jetting off to exotic locations, camping, or going on day trips.  But they do involve a lot of work - planning, packing, and the process of getting from A to B.  All the above can amount to stress - lost luggage, long delays, irritable children, and so it goes on...

Next week I am flying to England with my two teenagers, which consists of an internal flight, long wait at the airport and then a 9 hour flight.  So yes you have guessed I will be taking along lots of Rescue Remedy (5-in-1 stress relief system - for focus, calm, composure, patience, peace) plus a remedy mix to keep us all calm, cool and collected.  I will also have a tube of Rescue Cream on hand for bumps, bruises and to help with headaches. In addition I plan on avoiding caffeine and drinking lots of water.

To help us cope with the journey, and jet-lag the following remedies will be included in our mix:

Beech - to assist with intolerance - long journey, feeling uncomfortable, other travelers etc

Crab Apple - for cleansing, and having no problem using public washrooms

Impatiens - to assist with impatience - line-ups, long wait/flight etc

Mimulus - to deal with the fear of things that might go wrong

Olive - to assist with energy to get us through the journey/lack of sleep/jet-lag

Walnut - to protect us from outside influences, adjusting to change - environment/time-changes/altitude etc

Happy travels everyone!
