Greetings!
Happy Spring! Last week I attended a Feng Shui in the garden workshop, which was very interesting. Now when I am tidying and de-cluttering the yard of pine cones, ivy, and dead plants, I am very aware of what section (of 9) it is i.e. wealth, fame, health etc. I wonder how soon positive changes will occur! As for our emotional ups and downs this is where the Bach Flowers can assist - see article below. |

Keeping your emotions intact with the assistance of the Bach Flower Remedies...
Health is a precious commodity, and we often do our best to make sure we become and/or remain healthy. It seems these days however hard we try; we tend to get caught out by unknown ingredients/products in the food we eat and products we use.
As far as our emotional/mental health, we do have control over it because that is exactly what the Bach Flower Remedies can set out to do by subtly restoring balance to negative emotions, such as stress, depression or fear. Quiet frankly you never know what the day is going to bring, especially when you have teenagers in the house, whose moods can fluctuate in an instant!
Do not despair the Bach Flower Remedies can help with all moods (yours and other peoples), or whatever is causing you grief. Simply take two drops of the appropriate remedy or four drops of Rescue Remedy and equilibrium will be restored. For example:
- Beech - is for those who are intolerant or critical of others - bringing about tolerance and the ability to see good in others
- Cherry Plum - for fear of loosing control (mind/emotions/body) - assisting with mental calm and composure
- Holly - for when you are overcome by anger, jealousy, envy etc - which helps with inner harmony
- Impatiens - for when you are feeling impatient or irritated with the slow place of others - the positive outcome being patience
- Mimulus - when you are feeling fearful or anxious about something specific (known) - assisting with bravery and courage
- Red Chestnut - over-concern for the welfare of others, particularly loved ones - helps with calm and rational concern
- Scleranthus - indecision and mood swings - bringing about decisive quick decisions without dilemmas
- Walnut - unable to break links with the past, and easily influenced - which assists with change and outside influences
There are 38 remedies in all, which can be taken individually, or you can mix up to 7 at any one time. The remedies are made in the British countryside, by simply floating flower heads in spring water in the sunshine. The only inactive ingredient being 27% grape alcohol.
