Greetings!
Another beautiful day in the Comox Valley, and the yard is
beginning to burst with colour - with purple and orange courtesy of the
crocuses.
We have been
enjoying watching the Olympics, and full of Canadian pride. It is heart-warming to see the joy in the
athletes faces when they are on the podium singing 'Oh Canada'. They are an inspiration.
On another note,
recently I have seemed to be worrying (probably unnecessarily) about my kids
(dealing with issues at school) and my beloved dog Harry - who seems to be
limping more than usual lately - due to joint/knee problems. Being on the air of caution I keep him on a
leash in the yard, but know he is longing to run around and roll in the grass. He is now on the remedies and tomorrow going
to experience a 'Matrix Energetics'
treatment.
In fact,
quiet a few of my clients are pets.
Their owners are so concerned about them, actually they could probably
do with some remedies. Hence this
month's remedy is Red Chestnut. |

Red Chestnut
"For those of whom they are fond they may suffer
much" - Dr Edward Bach, 1936
Excerpt from Bach Flower Reflections... I'm thinking of the worst, and
every scenario that can go wrong; an accident, a bully, a robbery, or a fire
... I want my family to be safe at all
times and hope that nothing bad happens to them.
I hear a yelp from
the yard, and my dog Harry starts to limp badly. Oh no. Tears roll down my cheeks. Quick! Call the vet. I'm trying to comfort my dog while feeling
so helpless and trying to imagine the pain he is suffering. Practically in
hysterics I talk to friends on the phone. They offer to meet me at the vet's.
Wondering how the
children will take the bad news, and I hope to be back in time to pick them up
from school. Cautiously I help Harry into the vehicle, and take large sips of
Red Chestnut all the way to the vet's.
Worried about a
loved one, never fear Red Chestnut is here.
It gives us the strength to remain calm and the knowledge that things
will work out all right in the end. It
is possible to be a pillar of strength for the dog and children and you will be
there when needed, at last feeling better and knowing that help is close to
hand. He will get better and I have a long rehab job ahead of me. Everything will be fine, and there is no
need to worry.
The striking Red
Chestnut flower, reminds me of a large distinctive torch - shining and giving a
glimmer of hope and reassurance that help is near at hand and all will be well. For more information - The 38 flower remedies
