The Launch of Hospitality Assured Website As the 2011 standard and product offers were launched, so too, was the new look Hospitality Assured website, designed to be hopefully easier to navigate and to provide new functionality for clients e.g. allowing direct links to client sites. The 2010 Hospitality Assured Forum was held at the Glasgow Thistle on October 28th and this was judged by participants as a productive event. Riddell Graham, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Visit Scotland welcomed delegates to Scotland and reminded the participants of last years discussions on the development of the standard. Participants received the enthusiastic feedback on benchmarking data from Professor Andrew Lockwood. In addition EICC's Green Policy, activities and results was shared with participants by Reynaldo Guino -o Business Excellence Co-ordinator

| Hospitality Assured 2011

Hospitality Assured, the service sector standard, owned by the Institute of Hospitality, hosted its official re-launch on Thursday 4th November at Central Hall Westminster, London.
Presented by Professor Andrew Lockwood FIH, University of Surrey and Heiko Figge FIH, managing director of Guoman & Thistle hotels, the re-launched Hospitality Assured standard will continue to provide an effective framework that can be used by customer-facing businesses to create a service culture to delight customers and support business sustainability whilst offering a new and more flexible approach to accreditation.

No sooner is it November than we start to think about the Hospitality Assured awards which will be presented at the Institute of Hospitality Annual Lunch to be held early In June 2011.
We are looking for Hospitality Assured users to nominate their winner for the following Categories:
- Business Excellence Award Champion of the Year 2010
- Business Excellence Award Team of the Year 2010
