Eddie Bravo Coming to 10th Planet Burbank
Eddie will be returning to 10th Planet Burbank on Wednesday, November 17th for a special night of instruction. It will be held during our regular Jiu Jitsu class time 7:00-8:30 (at no extra cost for existing students). Mark your calendars!

Gym Closed Sunday 11/7 and Thursday 11/25
The gym will be closed on 11/7 due to the IBJJF World Jiu Jitsu Championship in Long Beach. There will be no adult classes or Yoga on Sunday.
The gym is also closed on Thursday 11/25 for Thanksgiving. There will be no kids or adult classes. There are no kids classes on Saturday 11/27, but adult classes will remain scheduled as usual on Saturday 11/27 and Sunday 11/28.

Other Events in November
Friday 11/19 Jared Carlsten (our current MMA instructor) has a Pro MMA fight at the Riverside Convention Center. Inquire about tickets at the front counter (or from Jared directly). Jared is undefeated in his professional MMA career. He is a brown belt in jiu jitsu under Eddie Bravo, and is known as "Crazy Legs" for his amazing flexibility. Come join us in cheering Jared on at the fight on the 19th!
Saturday 11/20 Muay Thai Smoker at MTA in North Hollywood. Come support our guys in this exciting event. Alfred will be returning for his second smoker, while Danny, Rambert, and Konrad will fighting in their first Muay Thai smoker!
Sunday 12/5 Victor Acosta's Muay Thai Fight at Commerce Casino. If you haven't been to one of Victors fights, your missing an awesome experience. Join us in supporting Victor at his fight on 12/5!

Free Women's Intro to Jiu Jitsu Once a Month
10th Planet Burbank is hosting a free women's introductory jiu jitsu class once a month. November's class will be held on Sunday, 11/14 from 11:00am to 1:00. December's class will be held on Sunday, 12/5 from 11:00am to 1:00. The class is open to the public (women) and free. All levels and experience are welcome.This is a great (and sometimes easier) way to get started in Jiu-Jitsu and ground fighting. Most women have never had the chance to try a combat sport, so most think it is "not for them." They would be surprised by the variety of types of women that train in 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu - from at home mom's, to college students, surgeons, executives, actresses, artists, etc... it can be for you (or the women in your lives) too, so encourage them to come give it a try!
One of the goals of this class is to get more women into the sport, in a more inviting environment, empower them and help them transition to the co-ed classes. Jiu-Jitsu is also great for fitness and self-defense (most attacks end up on the ground). They will learn a lot, not just about Jiu-Jitsu, but also about themselves.

team program coming, headed by Scott! We offer a 50% discount for
anyone currently enrolled at Headquarters or a 10th Planet
Affiliate, and have drop-in fees for non-members to train for the
day.
