Message from the President
Dear Scottsdale Leadership AlumniBrian Bednar 2011

I'd like to welcome Class XXVI as they begin what we alumni know is an incredible learning experience. I also want to thank the more than 125 alumni who volunteer their time, talent and passion to get Scottsdale Leadership to the finish line each year. We could not do what we do at Scottsdale Leadership if it wasn't for our committed alums!

For 2011-12, Scottsdale Leadership has identified three focus areas. We are working to build effective committees; engage our alumni in mission-focused ways; and enhance the sustainability of the organization by implementing a planned giving program.

In addition, Scottsdale Leadership is lending a hand to help start Keep Scottsdale Beautiful, and has adopted "Principles for Civil Dialouge" with the goal of having the initiative embraced community- wide.

I am honored to serve as your President. I will make sure that Scottsdale Leadership continues to grow and be the best it can be. Let's have a great year!

Brian Bednar, Class XX
President of the Board
