This is a free Q & A about practical application of the material discussed in the message that day (The first four Sundays in January we will be going BACK TO BASICS covering the first four chapters of the Science of Mind).  Facilitated by Rev. Christy & Rev. Ned.

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success
Based on the book by the same name by Deepak Chopra, this is an 8 week accredited Science of Mind 200 level class.  There are no prerequisites for this class.  Cost is $110 or $100 for members and $75 for seniors and teens.  Facilitated by Revs. Renee' & Christy

 Our dear friend Dale Worley is returning to bless our community!  Dale served on the retreat team at Unity Village in Kansas City, MO for four years.  He has traveled the country sharing his music and retreats for seven years and is currently the Associate Minister at Unity of Savannah.  
 
Dale will be our guest musician for Sunday morning service, this Sunday the 13th and he will offer a 45 minute concert following service at 11:45am on a love offering basis.  We realize that 45 minutes may not be enough for you, so just know that you can run home and meet up with more friends afterward and follow Dale to his second concert of the day at Unity Center for Spiritual Living on Mallard Creek Rd.  Dale will offer one of his experiential services on Monday night at Unity of Charlotte on Arrowood Rd. and he will also be available on Monday to do individual prayer treatment work with you (by appointment...Dale worked in Silent Unity doing his powerful prayer work while he was at Unity Village as well).

Join us in making a difference in the lives of 200 homeless people as we gather together to give of our time and our resources to make 200 sandwiches that will be delivered to Urban Ministries the following morning.  To coordinate food donations please let us know what you would like to donate by emailing communications@slccharlotte.com.

World Healing Day - New Year's Eve Morning - FREE EVENT
A planetary affirmation of peace (followed by breakfast)
It is more than wishful thinking to come together and affirm peace.  There is power in bringing our hearts and minds together for the purpose of creating peace by BEING the peace we wish to see in our world.  On December 31st every year people from all over the world join together in a synchronized effort as we unite in a world peace meditation.  Inspired by John Randolph Price, this World Healing Day has been growing since its inception on December 31, 1986.   Noon Greenwich (7am EST) time was selected as the time for the healing meditation as it would encompass all time zones during that 24-hour period.  This event will be facilitated by Revs. Christy Snow and Renee' Leboa.  Please help us spread the word of this coming together of peaceful hearts and let us be the peace we wish to see!

New Year's Eve Celebration - FREE EVENT
Celebrating consciously we will eat, laugh, sing, dance, listen, meditate and be together in peace and with intention, as we bring in the New Year SLC style!  Invite your friends, the more the merrier!

10:30pm Dance Set (Stacey McNamara will be dialing in some great beats)
11:30 Co-Creation Meditation and Claiming our New Year Consciously (Rev. Christy will lead us in a meditation that assists us in embracing our new year intentionally)
