College Town Economies Receive National Attention
Dear College Town Leaders, I hope that everyone has been enjoying and benefiting from the ITGA newsletters and communication services. Last week was an excellent example of the importance of being able to share information relevant to town and gown alike. The Wall Street Journal and Forbes Magazine both published articles on the positive economic benefits of college towns. Additionally, Fox News Network aired a report from Gainesville and the University of Florida on how collge town economies are outperforming national averages. The ITGA newsletter, The News Stand, featured these articles along with our twice weekly national news on Town/Gown Leadership, the Budget / Economy, Planning and Housing, Parking / Transportation, and Alcohol/Safety/Enforcement.
If you or your staff, whether members of ITGA or not, are not yet utilizing these services, we encourage you to try one or all of our communication tools to help you lead your college community to creating the best town & gown relationship possible. The ITGA offers to you the following tools:

ITGA Survey on Services and Products
The ITGA is working to fill the needs of our Members and all Town & Gown relationships. To assist in our efforts, will you help us by taking a short, ten question survey that will be used to guide our staff and Board of Directors in determining the products and services that we offer? The survey should take less than five minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your help. You may access the on-line survey by clicking here, ITGA Survey.
