Small Business View - Current Economic Climate
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce conducts a quarterly Small Business Outlook Survey designed to track the small business community's outlook on their business, the local economy, and the national economy over time. The 4th quarter results are in and findings indicate uncertainty on the national level continues to be the biggest challenge for small businesses.

Recent McKinney EDC Awards support Emerging Technology Companies and Existing Manufacturing
The Board of Directors of the McKinney Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) meets monthly to review projects and plans that will affect the economic growth and development of our community. The MEDC uses its sales tax funds to assist qualifying companies with relocations, expansions, infrastructure or site development needs. MEDC can also provide relocation and/or job training assistance as well as loans and grants. Full Story |
