 In 2011 the McKinney Chamber reduced the size of its board of directors and began meeting quarterly with its institutional partners. This group was named our Board of Advisors and is made up of representatives from the City of McKinney, McKinney Economic Development Corporation, McKinney Community Development Corporation, Collin County, Collin County Regional Airport, McKinney Main Street, McKinney Convention and Visitors Bureau, Collin College, the office of State Representative Ken Paxton as well as several major employers. Q: Why did you decide to volunteer for the Chamber?
A: I enjoy being around people. And I've lived in McKinney since 1998, learned a lot about the city, and like to help people learn more about what a great place McKinney is. Full Story
