Going Green with KDL
In celebration of Earth Day this April, KDL invites you to join us for programs encouraging sustainability and green living. Our Going Green program for children, featuring gardening-related crafts and activities, will take place at multiple KDL branch locations throughout the month. KDL's Gardening Organically with Victoria Schreur program, for ages 10 and up, will take place at the Englehardt branch on Tuesday, April 26. Learn organic tips for growing, harvesting, and using popular herbs and vegetables. Registration is recommended.

Discover Magical Creatures

Wave a magic wand and enter a fantastical realm of magic, wizardry and other-worldly fun. Families are invited to attend KDL's Magical Creatures program, taking place at multiple KDL branch locations this spring. Enjoy games and crafts featuring elves, giants, fairies, unicorns and other fabulous creatures!

Spring Anime Festival
 Whether you're into Naruto, InuYasha, or Bleach, KDL's Spring Anime Festival will get anime fans animated. Join us at KDL's Grandville branch on Saturday, April 9, at 1:00 pm for this fun event. Meet other anime fans and enjoy a common bond, learn more about various forms of anime, and expand your knowledge of anime and Japanese culture.
Anime expert Mark Ritzema will join us to answer your questions and watch some great anime films. Whether you're new to anime or a complete fanatic, this is the place to be! For teens grades 6-12. Registration is required. |
You're Invited to KDLville!
KDL invites you to our newest KDLville learning centers opening this spring at multiple KDL branch locations. Enjoy crafts, games, face painting, refreshments and more at these special ribbon-cutting events.
KDLville offers an engaging learning center where young children and their caregivers can play, grow, and read. These interactive spaces provide developmentally appropriate books and activities carefully selected to help parents and caregivers prepare their young children to enter school ready to learn to read, write, and listen. Help foster a lifelong love of reading and learning in your child and visit a KDLville location today!

With a colorful, graphical search interface, students can search more than 130 magazines, newspapers, books, maps, images, and more using KDL's eLibrary Elementary. All available material is selected as appropriate for elementary school studies. It's the perfect resource for elementary research and school projects. Provided by the Michigan eLibrary (MeL). |
