A 39 Clues Mystery @ KDL

Get ready for mystery and fun as the Kent District Library presents Codes, Secrets, and Adventure: A 39 Clues Party. Children ages six and up are invited to uncover secrets, solve codes and enjoy activities based on the popular book series, The 39 Clues. The series follows two children, Amy Cahill and her brother Dan, as they travel the world to hunt for clues revealing important information about the Cahill family.

Experience the British Isles
Join us as we celebrate the culture, music, geography and food of Britain, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Cultural Awareness: Focus on the British Isles will take place from 4pm to 6pm on Monday, November 22 at KDL's Englehardt branch. Books, music and videos highlighting this fascinating and beautiful land will be on hand and refreshments will be served.

Meet Author Michael Deeb
Dr. Michael Deeb, author of the Drieborg Chronicles, a fictional trilogy based on the Civil War, will visit KDL's Englehardt branch at 6pm on Thursday, November 18. He will present on his latest book in the trilogy, Honor Restored, which features a main character from Lowell, MI. Books will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow. Deeb published his first Civil War era historical novel, Duty and Honor in 2007, followed by Duty Accomplished in 2008. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Englehardt Library. |
