The Kent District Library invites you to the second annual A Novel Experience event featuring David Baldacci, best-selling author and literacy advocate. Please join us on Tuesday, September 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center for this special event. Tickets are $15 and proceeds will support KDL's literacy programs for young children. A special Author Reception will be held at Watermark Country Club, with a limited number of tickets available for $60 each. Author Reception tickets will include admission to the public event.

Celebrate KDL's New Kentwood Branch
Get ready for an afternoon of fun on Monday, August 23, from 12pm-4pm for a special Open House to celebrate the Kent District Library's new Kentwood branch. This event will feature live music, refreshments, prizes, activities for children and more. Katie L., Clifford and other popular children's characters will also be stopping by.
Join us as we begin a new chapter at the Kentwood branch, located at 4950 Breton SE, Kentwood. Note: Regular branch hours will begin on Tuesday the 24th.

Eat, Pray, Love VIP Premiere Party
 Join KDL for a great night and a great cause! A special Eat, Pray, Love VIP Premiere Party will take place on Friday, August 13 at Celebration! Cinema South. The festivities begin at 6:30 PM, and the movie starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the event for just $25.00 per person, which includes pop and popcorn, appetizers, a goody bag, games and prizes, reserved VIP seating and more. A portion of all ticket sales will go to the KDL Fund, which supports KDL's literacy programs for young children.
