Important Policy Update!
Effective March 15, 2010, Kent District Library will be adopting a new materials return policy. The change is a result of continued cuts to library funding. For KDL customers, this means you will need to return KDL items to any KDL branch location. This change in policy WILL NOT impact your ability to place holds through the online catalog. Please read this blog post for further details and clarification.

The numbers are in, and 2009 was another record-setting year for KDL as Kent County residents continued to take advantage of all the great library resources we have to offer. In 2009, the number of materials borrowed rose again by double digits -- 10% -- topping the 6 million item mark for the first time in KDL history. The number of cardholders increased by 11% and branch visitor counts rose by 9%. Attendance to KDL programs also increased by 9%.
