Spring is here and I have decided to tackle our family's coat closet. Although it is called the coat closet, it really has a lot more in it than coats and it's about time to get it organized.
Part of the art of organizing is knowing what to buy for the space you plan to organize. It's not about just picking out cute products that hold stuff. It's about finding the best solution for the items you need in the space you have. This particular closet of mine is overflowing with scarves, hats, and other items. I need the items to be better organized in the space.
After taking some measurements and deciding what I wanted to do with the space, I headed to the local Target® to get the products that I needed and was lucky enough to find them on sale too.
I will start my project after Easter when I have SCHEDULED the time to do it. Then next month in our GO Newsletter I will explain what I have done and show the before and after photos.
In March, the GO Team and I headed to Cowboys Stadium for a huge home expo, where we were excited to meet so many people. On top of that, D Magazine asked me to share on their blog how I would organize one of D's own associate's desk. The trick was.. I had to do it virtually. That was fun... studying just one picture.. what a challenge.
I recently revisited my New Year's resolutions from January and decided to attack one of them head on and signed up for a beginner's Sign Language course. I have been signing now for about a year each Sunday morning at church, but want to take it to the next level, eventually becoming fluent. I desire to add working with the deaf to our services and of course serving the deaf in our church.
Please take a look below at our great tips, ideas, and news.. We make it short and sweet to keep you informed but not overloaded.

Does your mind race at night when you finally lay down in bed? Do you think of all the things you need to remember to do or forgot to do that day?
As an organizing company we help our clients come up with solutions for getting not only their physical space organized, but their life in order too. To relieve the anxiety when you go to bed, we have two suggestions. Keep a digital recorder (or use your phone) beside your bed to save all the ideas that are keeping you awake. Another idea is to use a cheaper solution: pen and paper. The only challenge might be that you have to turn a light on to write!
When an idea or thought or memory comes to mind as you are trying to fall asleep, get rid of it by recording it on something you can refer to the next day. It is easier to act on a task when you have had a good night's sleep. |

Do you need a little hope, encouragement, or help with your marriage, blended family, or with a dysfunctional family or relationship?
I have to tell you about a wonderful ministry that offers FREE workshops and all day classes on these and other topics. The classes, which include snacks and often a meal too, are all held at the Hope Center located in Plano, Texas.
The spring schedule is currently posted on their website. If you don't happen to find the topic you need now, check back soon for their summer schedule. We hope you are blessed by the ministry of Hope for the Heart. |

Savvy Ways to Save
Many cities provide trash cans for their residents. and often you can choose between two different sizes: 95 gallon or 68 gallon. The savvy tip for saving here is that you can save on your monthly bill by reducing the size of your trash cart and adding an additional recycling cart. Check on your cities website for details. |
