I hope that you enjoy and find value in this newsletter. Would you please take a few minutes and forward this newsletter to  friends or colleagues? Help spread the word about the MFRmail Newsletter.

I invite you to visit my new blog, the Myofascial Release Exchange. Covering a wide range of topics relating to the work that we do and the world where we work, I hope you'll visit and return to my blog often. Add you comments and be part of the exchange.
Thanks to Providence Alaska

Last month I had the pleasure to take my Foundations in Myofascial Release Seminar to Seward, Alaska. I truly enjoyed meeting all of the therapists from Providence, as well as others. Alaska was beautiful and the people were warm and receptive. I hope to return again next year with an advanced class (and to try another moose burger).

For all of you who participated in the class, I welcome your feedback on the Myofascial Release Exchange Blog. Let me know about successes that you've had with myofascial release, as well as questions that you may have.

The Research page of my website now lists well over 200 research citations. Many are direct links to the full published articles, while others allow you to read the abstract. As research emerges casting light on the deeper manner in which myofascial release effects the body, I will keep you updated on the Research page of MyofascialResource.com.

A few new articles include:

- The Myth of Core Stability

- Association of Leg-Length Inequality With Knee Osteoarthritis    A Cohort Study

- Sustained Manual Loading of the Fascial System Can Evoke Tonic Reactions: Preliminary Results

- Physical Thoughts About Structure: The Elasticity of Fascia

- The Communication of Emotion via Touch

- Everything You Know About Muscle is Wrong

Help spread the word!

Deepen your base of skill and knowledge by joining me for a Myofascial Release Mentoring Program. While similar programs have existed for many years, none give you inside access to a single therapist therapeutic environment, which is where the vast majority of MFR therapists practice. Work side by side with me and follow clients through their Myofascial Release treatment. Establish your own goals and be prepared to have a chance to move into the barriers like you have never felt before. Learn new techniques and reinforce your existing techniques. Learn how to "connect the dots", from the theoretical to the practical. Programs are flexible, so call or email me for more information.
