MyofascialResource.com Practice Tip

Why Didn't My Physician Recommend Myofascial Release?

How many times have you been asked this question? A while back I decided to anwser this question pre-emptively.  I make this handout available to my clients. It not only gives them some possible answers to this question, but also empowers them to go back to their doctor and tell them exactly what MFR has done for them. Please feel free to edit this handout to  suit your situation (ignore the copyright...I am giving you permission!).

BodyworkOnline.com

BodyworkOnline is a great forum for bodyworkers and the public. There is a section devoted entirely to Myofascial Release where we field a wide variety of questions and situations, including techniques, ethics, marketing, and education. Any viewpoint is welcome, so stop by to browse or to say hello.

Myofascial Release Practitioner Directory

The Directory continues to draw clients to MFR therapists around the country. Very affordable and searchable from all major search engines and fueled by Google AdWords, thousands of potential clients have been drawn to the Myofascial Release Practitioner Directory. Here is some feedback I recently received from Mary Ryan, an LMT in Rockaway, NJ:

"Walt. Really like and greatly appreciate your vision in putting together this directory for us. I have received new clients since signing on last year directly because of your directory."

Spend your advertising dollars wisely without compromising quality and visibility. The cost is only $40 per year, almost one-tenth the cost of other MFR directories. Find out more about the Myofascial Release Practitioner Directory here.

MFR Tools

Introducing the MotivAider

(PLEASE NOTE:  I have found a less expensive source for the Motivaider, please refer to my website for details!)

Changing long held holding patterns can be difficult. With conscious awareness, we can often create change, but when our attention is directed elsewhere, the holding pattern often returns. Clients of mine have had very good success using the MotivAider™. You simply set the unit for a certain time interval and attach it to your belt, clothing, etc and the MotivAider gives off a subtle but noticeable vibration. Using these cues to consciously soften and relax, your clients will soon be able to make lasting changes.
