Myofascial Release News

 Quad For News
If you have news, take an opportunity to let people know. E-mail me your MFR related news stories to promote yourself and your website!

Research:

Weight loss without dietary restriction: Efficacy of different forms of aerobic exercise. (reference #66) Looks at three forms of exercise frequently recommended for weight loss and shows swimming as the least effective.

As I search the Web, I often take note of therapist's websites that catch my attention. Myofascial Release of Central Florida has a great site that is worth checking out. Clean and very easy to navigate, this site shows what a good website can do for your business.

MyofascialResource.com Treatment Tip

This month's Treatment Tip is actually a Practice Building Tip. Attracting New Clients: The Backward Feed and The Promise is a downloadable PDF available at the Archives page of my website. This first part of a semi-regular series is designed to help you build your practice using techniques that have worked for me as well as for others.

BodyworkOnline.com
BodyworkOnline is a great forum for bodyworkers and the public. There is a section devoted entirely to Myofascial Release where we field a wide variety of questions and situations, including techniques, ethics, marketing, and education. Any viewpoint is welcome, so stop by to browse or to say hello.

Myofascial Release Practitioner Directory

The Directory continues to draw clients to MFR therapists around the country. Very affordable and searchable from all major search engines and fueled by Google AdWords, thousands of potential clients have been led to the Directory in an effort to locate a therapist near them. Here is the feedback I recently received from Mary Ryan, an LMT in Rockaway, NJ:

"Walt. Really like and greatly appreciate your vision in putting together this directory for us. I have received new clients since signing on last year directly because of your directory."
