Corporate Citizenship

The Dryvit Family took part in The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women on Friday, February 4th.  Dryvit generously donated $20 for each Dryvit female employee who wore red that day.  Additional monies are being collected throughout the month of February through Dryvit's Friday Jeans Day!  In total, over $700 will be donated to this very worthy cause.  If you would like to learn more about heart disease in women, visit www.goredforwomen.org.

Unbridled Optimism Sculptures

A sculptor in Chevy Chase, MD has found what she calls the perfect use for Dryvit's Outsulation® System.  Lois Levitan created these two outdoor pieces, standing 5 ½ feet tall and weighing 350 lbs each.  The weight comes from the concrete bases on which the sculptures stand.  The sculptures, named "Unbridled Optimism," are made out of EPS insulation, reinforced base coat and Red Clay Sandblast® finish.  Currently, they are on display in front of the Fine Arts Building at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD, and they are looking for a permanent or temporary home at another location.  If you are interested or know anyone who may be interested in purchasing or taking the sculptures on loan for display, please email Lois directly at loislevitan@verizon.net.
