Accurate Die Design Inc. has over 30 years of experience in the Tool and Die industry. We train and support SolidWorks-based Logopress3 Die Design software and Forming Analysis/Flat Blank Prediction software from Forming Technologies (FTI). We are the U.S Technical Center and North American distributor for Logopress3. Our in-house experienced die designers use each of these products on a daily basis providing die design and forming analysis/flat blank prediction services.

In May,
Accurate Die Design, Inc. and Logopress Corp., announced their partnership with SolidWorks Reseller, CAD AVSHMEIP, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. 
In order to better serve the needs of the Mexico market, CAD AVSHMEIP will handle the technical support and training for our Spanish speaking prospects and users of Logopress3 die design software. CAD AVSHMEIP has a long history of experience working with companies in the Tool and Die industry.
  
Pedro Torres and Ricardo Torres, presidents of CAD AVSHMEIP, along with their staff of technical application engineers will now be the main providers of training and technical support for Logopress3 in Mexico.  In addition to CAD AVSHMEIP, Logopress3 is sold by numerous SolidWorks resellers throughout Mexico.  This new partnership provides a central source for presales assistance, training and support for Logopress3 resellers and users in Mexico. 
 
We welcome CAD AVSHMEIP and we look forward to working with them and new users of Logopress3.

State Funds Available For Employee Training Programs

 
With training budgets always under constant pressure of cuts, companies need to look for creative ways to fund and invest in their future and employees. You can simply take advantage of Workforce and Economic Development program funds administered by the various states. For many companies whose operations span multiple states, there is a never-ending supply of dollars for those companies who know how to access these monies.
Each state of course has different rules, so each company's situation might differ. Understanding the program details can yield some very big dollars.  
  
Eligible Training
  • Training on new or improved products, processes or systems 
  • Job or occupational-specific workplace skills training  
  • Technical, IT, ISO and computer systems training.  
  • Manufacturing training
  • Logopress3 training and SolidWorks training are eligible for these reimbursements.  We highly recommend that now is the time to prepare for the BUSY upturn and learn new skills that will make your company a more profitable one 

Some educational services companies are beginning to help with these processes of filing the paperwork for these grants.  Check with your local Workforce Development Office, your Tool, Die & Machining Association, PMA or even Accurate Die Design Inc. for additional information. I have attached a spreadsheet that shows state by state the programs available.  Contact your Workforce Development Office for more information.  IT IS WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT!
