Although we are not the first to give a cardboard testimony - we were definitely blessed by over 45 life changing testimonies that were presented on August 9.  Here is just a sampling of what was shared:

-  from PROSTITUTE to BRIDE OF CHRIST

-  from SATANIST  to WARRIOR FOR JESUS

-  from THIEF to LOVING FATHER

-  from CONVICTED FELON to SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER

-  from DEEPLY DEPRESSED to JOY FILLED

-  from MOLESTED to HEALED

 

In recognition of this special night all those that gave testimonies and those that came forward and committed to a life transformation through the power of Jesus Christ received a T-shirt with "Transformed" inscribed on it as a symbol of the work God is doing in their lives.  Thank you Calvary Bible for the T-shirts!   The message on Romans 12:1-2 and Paul's transformation was given by Kevin Scot, Family Ministry Pastor from Calvary Bible and the volume of testimonies led to 74 decisons that night! We are following up with those individuals who came forward.    

When we are transparent about the work that Christ is doing in us, it will allow Him to work through us to transform lives.

 The Board of Directors and the entire team would like to thank Joost DeMoes for his outstanding service as Interim Executive Director during our transistion.  His leadership and insight gave us the guidance we needed during the first 4 months as an independent organization.  Although he will be greatly missed we know that the DeMoes family will still be part of our great team and that is truly appreciated!
