Greetings!

Welcome to our December Nutrition Unit Newsletter.  Here's a chance to find out more about:
We hope you had a chance to stop in to see your child in our quarterly performance at your location.  This is always a fun and casual way to see what your child is learning in Dancercise.  But, while we're on the subject of performance, you'll be seeing costume order forms come home with your child for our Annual Show in May.  There'll be more to follow, but we really hope you'll sign up for the show - virtually every family member that attends has nothing but praise for the event - on all levels: cuteness, fun, organization and length (yes, it's short and very sweet!).  And we keep the cost down to make it something you can all attend, next May (see specific flyer for details).  You can check out more details and a video slide show here.  For that matter you can order your costume online too!

As for curriculum, this month we "leap" into our Fitness Fun quarter, and its Nutrition Unit.  This time of year, we're all stuffed with turkey and contemplating perhaps time with family and friends over the up and coming holidays.  While we all enjoy the fun, we use this unit to remind your children of making healthy choices with their nutrition through the magic of song and dance.  You can ask them to show you the "Ensalada Lambada"....

We have some really fun songs and dances in this quarter, and we hope you'll enjoy them.

On behalf of everyone here at Dancercise Kids, we appreciate your business, and we wish you all the best for this holiday season and for the new year.

CurriculumDecember Curriculum - "Nutrition"
FruitNutrition is the theme of the December Unit of our Fitness Fun Quarter.  We're learning about making good choices in eating habits, especially important at this time of year when opportunities for outside activity may be reduced, and tempting treats are all around.  But there's no lecturing here, just good lessons baked into fun songs and dances!  We hope this newsletter will give you the opportunity to talk about these topics with your "Dancercise Kid".
