If you pay Dancercise directly for classes, you will have received your e-mail eStatement recently showing April charges. These charges will be billed to your card around March 15th.

Please note that we bill in advance, and that your eStatement will arrive about 4 weeks before the classes for which charges are shown.  You have two weeks to let us know if you wish to drop, and then we will bill your card on or about the 15th of the month for classes starting the next month.

Please also note that each month's charge in the detail shows the name of the unit.  In this case, April's unit is Dramatics, so the charge will be labeled Dramatics Unit.

Greetings!

Welcome to our March Musical Instruments Unit Newsletter.  Here's a chance to find out more about:

We are excited to be starting our Musical Instruments unit.  This unit features songs that talk about and encourage musical experimentation.  The kids will have some various simple home made instruments in class that they will use to play along with the rhythms and instructions in the songs.  Remember, even if the kids come home and create a noise at home, if it's in the spirit of Dancercise, encourage them!

The songs we use in this quarter are available for download from our online store for just $2 each, so you can pick your child's favorite songs and download them for your favorite media player.

Spring is in the air and many of you are turning your minds to the summer and what kinds of activities are available for your kids.  We have some original and entertaining camps at our studio in Minnetonka; for those of you within a reasonable driving distance, you'll find a wide variety of exciting options for the summer.

On behalf of everyone here at Dancercise Kids, we appreciate your business, and we hope you enjoy the beginning of our thaw and look forward to a warm Spring to come.

CurriculumMarch Curriculum - "Musical Instruments"

Musical Instruments
is the theme of our March Unit.  We are learning about the different ways to make music, and also where we can hear nature's own music in the world around us. We're having a great time keeping the beat, listening to the rhythm, moving to the music and playing instruments. We work together as a team for our "parade," and we love taking turns so we can listen to our fellow musicians!

Ask your child these questions and let them show you what they've been learning!
How does a Scarecrow stretch?
Show me a 3 Steo Turn?
Can you sign Music?
How do you March in a Parade?
They might not remember everything but watch their imaginations go to town!

Thank you for participating in Dancercise.  You can find much more information on our website here, or you can e-mail us with questions.
