Welcome to our November Sign Language Unit Newsletter.  Here's a chance to find out more about:
Keep an eye out this month in your cubbies and on our poster boards for our quarterly performances, when our classes will show you what we've been learning.  You are welcome to drop into any class to watch, but we'll put on a show for you this month!  No special clothing or shoes are required for these performances.  For classes that have only recently started, our instructors may schedule performances a little later to allow for the kids to become more familiar with the material.

Up next, our Fitness Fun Quarter in December, starting with our Nutrition Unit!

CurriculumNovember Curriculum - "Sign Language"
Happy HalloweenSign Language is the theme of our November Unit of our Communication Carnival Quarter.  As you might have noticed, we incorporate Sign Language into virtually every lesson in Dancercise, but this month we pack even more in.  We're learning about going to school on the school bus, thinking about what to be thankful for as Thanksgiving approaches, and also we're going to sign our ABCs.  Now it's asking a lot for the kids to remember all 26 letters in sign language but, as always in Dancercise, we encourage them to do their best!
