NC Prevention Partners' second
Fax Referral Challenge started on July 1, 2009 and will run through April 30, 2010. The Fax Referral Challenge encourages hospital staff to refer patients to the
NC Tobacco Use Quitline using the
fax referral form.
If your hospital didn't particpate last year, now is a great time to get started. People using the Quitline should be encouraged to request the multi-call option.
Awards will be given out at NC Prevention Partners' June 2010 Annual Meeting to the top large, medium and small hospitals as well as the hospital that has the highest percentage of accepted calls and the hospital that has the highest percentages of callers that choose the multiple-call option.
