                     News from NC Prevention Partners

June 25, 2009
Hello QNNC! Partners,

NC Prevention Partner's first Fax Referral Challenge started in July 2008 and finished at the end of April, 2009.  The Challenge was initiated to increase awareness and the use of the NC Tobacco Use Quitline.  NCPP recognized the top large, medium, and small NC hospitals using the fax referral option in hooking people up to the Quitline, in addition to the hospital that had the highest number of accepted calls by those they referred to the Quitline.  The awards were presented at NC Prevention Partners' Annual Meeting on June 3rd.  Congratulations to all the hospitals that participated, and especially to the winners!  Click here to view photos from NCPP's Annual Meeting.

Large - Carolinas Medical Center - 327 fax referrals
