Hello QNNC! Partners,
NC Prevention Partner's first Fax Referral Challenge
started in July 2008 and finished at the end of April. The Challenge was
initiated to increase awareness about the NC Tobacco Use Quitline.
Since its start, the number of referrals to the Quitline has tripled.
NCPP will recognize the top large, medium, and small NC hospitals using the fax
referral option in addition to the hospital that had the highest number of
accepted calls at our Annual Meeting on June 3rd.
Congratulations to all the hospitals that participated, and especially to the
winners! Our next Challenge will begin on July 1, 2009. Here is the fax referral form for
use with patients and employees who are ready to quit the use of tobacco. If you have any questions about participating, please contact Katie at 919.969.7022 x 201.
