Quit Now Logo3

Hello QNNC! Partners,

Thanks to all those who attended our Executive Seminar on Worksite Wellness last week in Wilmington.  It was a big success and we learned a lot from Dr. Michael Burke, Treatment Program Coordinator of the Mayo Clinic's Nicotine Dependence Center.  Click here to view photos from the event.

Congratulations to all the hospitals participating in the NC Fax Referral Challenge by connecting patients to the NC Tobacco Use Quitline and a special round of applause for Carolinas Medical Center for referring over 230 employees and patients so far this year!

The Challenge will run through April and awards will be given to the top large, medium, and small hospitals, as well as the hospital that generates the highest number of accepted services, at NC Prevention Partners' Annual Meeting on June 3, 2009.  Our next Fax Referral Challenge will begin in July, so if your hospital has not been participating, get ready to start in July.
